Character
A fruity, balanced, garnet-red wine with a slight violet gleam, it has a powerful and multifaceted bouquet of blackberry, redcurrant and a touch of fig, vanilla and cinnamon. On the palate it displays juicy tannins and a full, soft and harmonious structure, complemented by a long-lasting finish.
Producer
If you enjoy Tosone, you won't be able to resist the Sicilian attitude to life and the brightest colours of Sicily: the yellow of saffron, lemons and the scorching sun, the red of tomatoes and blood oranges, the blue of the sky and the sea, the green of the famous artichokes from Ramacca - this is Sicily. Italy's largest wine region is an island rich in contrasts in terms of its landscape, too: lush and barren, splendid and run-down, hot and cool - this is how diverse the homeland of Tosone is. The wines of Tosone likewise create harmony out of contrasts. Elegant without being obtrusive, full and aromatic, Tosone offers a multitude of small revelations. This has also been recognised by renowned wine critic Luca Maroni, who has awarded these wines a number of outstanding distinctions.
